Fall Harvest Dinner
Let's enjoy the changing seasons with an evening of food and drinks created especially for you. Our third annual Fall Harvest Dinner will comprise of a series of small plates paired with drinks to both interest and treat your palate. The executive kitchen staff at George's Local is excited to bring you the finest tasting dinner offered in the Cedar Valley.

Hops
Sample brews from breweries from around the state during the annual Hops craft beer sampling event! On Thursday April 6th, 2023, patrons are invited to sample finely crafted beers at select downtown bars and restaurants.
Registration for the event begins at 5:30 until 6:30, you can pick up your Hop Stop card, your souvenir glass and venture out to the 19 locations participating this year. You can register at either the River Place Plaza or George's Local Patio.

George’s Local igloos
Igloo season is coming to a close! The final date for Igloos to be booked is Sunday, March 12. Bookings are done at least 2 days in advance through our website. While we are sad to see the igloos go for the season, this means that Patio Season will soon be here!

We would like to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving! In observance of the holiday, we will be closed on Thanksgiving. Our staff will be spending this day with friends and family.

The executive kitchen staff at George's Local will be working in conjunction with the culinary crews of St. Burch Tavern and Pullman Bar & Diner (both out of Iowa City) to bring you the finest tasting dinner offered in the Cedar Valley.
Trick or Treating Downtown Cedar Falls
Join us in the Cedar Falls Downtown District for Trick or Treating. George’s Local will be ready to hand out candy and see all the awesome costumes that will be sure to take over the District. See you then!

P is for Pumpkin Painting on the Patio at George’s!
On Sunday, October 23rd, we’ll be hosting a free pumpkin painting session from 2-5pm! Free to the community and great for parents and children alike!
We’ll be offering apple cider for the kiddos and adults are free to mosey up to the bar to spike it 🥂
